New Year Resolutions!

This year I am going to go through with my resolution from last year. I am going to lode weight. I wanted to do that in 2008, but I got knocked up instead. LOL I have a good 50 pounds to lose. Its a bit much, but I am hoping for 30 at least. I will do this. I am tired of being a skinny girl trapped in a fat girl's body. Most days i just feel disgusting. Anyways...

Happy Holidays...

Let me just say... Thank goodness its over. I am so tired. I feel sick (probably all the vodka.) I did enjoy watching Aiden with his gifts though. But I am going to go. And try to clean myself up. I will post pics of the highlights tomorrow.

Merry Christmas!!

My plans include a whole bunch of stuff, but I am not sweating it this year. No need to be crazy. I even have more on my plate than normal. This is going to be a very dismal Christmas with the inlaws. Mommio is in a hospital bed in her living room for the next week without a Christmas tree because the bed is in the way. Daddio is in the hospital. He might have to get part of his foot chopped off due to an infection. Its just a terrible time for it to happen. So that leaves me to make Christmas dinner for them. No biggie I love to cook. And I am going to make something great. Fresh Chick Parm with spaghetti and Italian sausage and Cheese Stuffed Shells. Garlic Bread with cheese. For Apps I am making BLT dip. Its sooo good.
Its snowing again... I am tired of the snow and its only December I have at least 2.5 more months of winter. And that doesn't include that it sometimes still snows even in April. One year it snowed in MAY! I just heard its only supposed to b 3-5 inches now. Good cuz last night was saying a lot more. In case any of you need to know where I am going to be the next two days.

I love Christmas. I have finally gotten in the mood for it when I was making cookies and snacks. Listening to music wrapping presents. It was so fun. I can't wait to dress my baby girl up today. Its what I have been waiting for...
Well I have to go argue witht he hubby to get up. Its like this every year. Cuz he won't go to bed on time ever. Should I punch him? NAH its Xmas. Merry Christmas All!

This is the first snowfall I actually really enjoyed in a while. Aiden, Scott, and I went outside to shovel/play. We got a bit over 12inches. Its crazy. Up to my knees. Here are some pictures to show you.

I am well aware that I have turned into a teenager again. This little obsession I have feels good. So I am not worrying. Plus with my newfound obsession with vampires I was informed of other books to read/movies to watch.
Anyways what I like about Twilight Saga is that it shows the nicer side of vampires. I like to think about the best in people whether dead alive or undead.
I am wondering how many babies will be named Edward now. I bet there is a bit of an increase next year. I wonder if vampires are real. If there are stories and myths about them... Its cool to think about. And I am not really afraid. I say that now. If i ever meet a vamp I might be singing a different tune.
Oh and I found out that New Moon is set to be coming out in Nov 2009 instead of sometime in 2010. I wet my pants a little thinking about it.
Do you think this post has become sufficiently obssessive? Good that was my point. Goodnight all!

Christmas Cookies!!

We went to my mom's house last night to decorate Sugar Cookie Cut outs. We all had such a blast. Brother Jake kept licking the knives though. Sister Emily loves anything artsy so i decided that me and her make the best designs so only we are going to do them next year! HA HA JK. Here are some pics.

Sleep

I really miss being able to come home after work on sunday nights after being up all night saturday night and just go to bed. Now I was up until 2 last night cuz of a baby and can't nap because of my babies. I am not regretting my kids at all. But just once in a while it would be nice.
Its not like I don't get enough sleep. I actually get plenty most days/nights. My kids are so good at sleeping its unbelievable. Aiden goes to bed at around 10 and usually is up and 10-11am. Colie falls asleep about 10 as well and gets up at 7ish to eat and is back to sleep within the hour until 11am when Aiden gets up.
I just don't get to sleep when I want to. I can't nap anymore since Aiden rarely naps these days. And baby girl only naps for up to 45mins. With the exception of the early morning nap.
I wouldn't really change it for anything. Its a great schedule. I mean it could be so much worse.
On that note... I wanna nap!

2008

There was a survey on Myspace that went through the months and it got me thinking about the year and how much has changed.

1.) February 28th, We finally got married. It was a sweet little courthouse wedding. Just family. While at the time I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a big ceremony. In the long run all that matters is that we are married. Scott, We have had our rough times but if we can make it through all that with just a little scarring and a bit more mending we can do anything. I have known it was you since we met. You will always be mine and I will always be yours. (yes I know you won't read this)

2.) My dear friend Cassie(who I just found out actually reads this) graduated from college. You are the first person that I really know that has ever done this. It amazes me. I am so proud.

3.) June brought Summerfest. Summerfest brought Rascal Flatts. In my 7th month of pregnancy I went to a concert at the busiest most crowded festival in the city. And I loved it. Being pregnant I cried through almost the whole thing. Every song hit a nerve and I just bawled. Also Rascal Flatts brought Taylor Swift!! She is my new favorite. BTW... Gonna put on her new CD.

4.) July 4th weekend was probably the most fun I have had in a long time. Me and my growing family went camping. Yes I was 8 months preggers then. I don't care. We stayed in a tent on my aunt and uncles property. The best time ever. Hoping we make that a tradition.

5.) A ugust 10th was Aiden's 3rd Birthday. My oh my how the time flies. It seems like just yesterday he was born. I can remember it so vividly it had to have been just yesterday.

6.) August 18th my Baby Girl was born. A nice fast labor with a small head. With her mohawk that has just now gotten long enough to not be standing up all the time. She is getting so big and is so sweet.

My life has changed a lot this year. I am becoming who I should have been all along. My babies have made me complete. My marriage means more than just a piece of paper like I always thought. I grew up a bit. Sometimes I think about how selfish I used to be. All I am hoping for is that next year is half as good as this year was. Love you all!

Not so Merry Christmas

My mother in law broke her ankle. She needs to stay at a Rehabilitation Center so that she can get her Bad knee to work with her broken ankle. Her Insurance won't pay for it. Its rediculous. Now she has to sit at home and will hardly be able to move. I feel so bad. At least she got her Christmas shopping done. She is going to be so depressed. I wish i knew that i could do to help.

Going to the BAHAMAS!!!

We got a cruise!!!! And Airfare!!! All we had to do was break three grown men's hearts.... So we went to a presentation and saw what they had to offer. And no its not a timeshare. It was something a little different. And cheaper, but we already have a timeshare so getting into another thing would be the hair that broke the camels back! I felt so bad taking this and running with it. But its a four day three night cruise with free airfare. We need a vacation so bad. Its been a rough year. Anyways i probably get to go SCUBA DIVING!!!!!!! That is so exciting. We got more snow. Aiden went sledding for the first time ever today. It was so cute. Colette did the same babythings she does every day. I love Facebook. Thats all. I put my kitty on craigslist today. It was sad. Stacy has her getting picked up tomorrow. We cried. My hubby just got home with pizza! Hey if I am going to stop eating bad on the first of the new year then i better get my fix now!

I am not feeling so good

I just started getting a tummy ache! And a slight headache. No chills yet though. I am hoping its just a tired thing. I do not want the flu. It is kinda going around work. I only work once a week though.
So today was nice. It snowed out so we didn't do much but a walmart run to get a sled and snow pants for Aiden. He wanted green ones. This wouldn't be such a weird thing if it weren't for the fact that his coat is red with blue trimming. SO we got him the green ones. He looks a little ridiculous, but whatever.
Colette has taken to chewing on her blankies. And the only way i got her to fall asleep tonight is to put one of those novelty blankies with a stuffed animal attached. She loves it!
Anyways I am going to go off to bed and hopefully whatever is ailing me will pass over through the night.

Black Friday

So i did it! we were in and out in an hour. Kohls opened at 4am and we were home by 515am. Colie woke up was fed. Unfortunately she wasn't ready to go to sleep quite yet though. So Daddy took her to the living room where she finally fell asleep about 7am. Slept until 930am then i fed her in bed with me while scott stayed in the living room and we slept until 1pm! We went to pick Aiden up at gramma's house had some wong's wok and then Cassie came over for a visit. Aiden loves her. She lets him wrestle with her a bit. I don't do that.
Have I said before how much i hate my pump? I was online to order a replacement part thinking that maybe i was overzealous with attaching the tubing... I read some reviews and other ladies had the same piece break after just one or two uses! I mean its a 90.00 pump it should last at least 6mos. So now that i am back to work pumping isn't working out for me. I don't know what i am going to do. I shouldn't have to pay for something that shouldn't break so easily. GRRRR!
Going to take a hot bath with a trashy romance novel now!

Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I had an interesting one. Dinner at the in-laws went well. I love the wine that we had. Gonna hafta get me summa that. Laugh out loud. My mom's was really good. I love green bean casserole! I cant spell that word. My mom was drunk when i got there. It was crazy. She kept drinking. It was funny to watch. She just kept going and playing with the kids. They were great with her today. I did my sisters hair. So we are going to Kohls at 4AM. crazy i know. But we can wipe out all our Xmas shopping at once. With a few exceptions. Like gramma! So... Gotta get going. I have some things to do before we get out shopping.

SNOW!

So my cat is spitting up a hair ball right now. Anyone who has ever witnessed this knows that it is not a pretty sight or sound.
We got our first snowfall yesterday. I really don't enjoy snow. But i couldn't imagine Christmas without it. Aiden got new snowboots too. Spiderman of course. He won't take them off! Silly. I had my babies playing on the floor today. It funny how much Colie already loves her big brother! She just laughs and smiles when he around her. He likes to show her his superhero toys and make them dance and sing for her. She actually almost giggles when he sings the Alphabet to her. Its one of my favorite things.
I have a netflix account that i love. I think i may have lost a disc though. I didn't finish watching it yet. Its Dawson's Creek. I have two episodes left on this disc. I am a little upset i can't find it. I might have to pay 20.00 to replace it. That really sucks. Aiden went to bed without a fight and actually went to sleep within 15minutes of being in there. Cool Cool. Especially since he didn't get up until noon. Last night he was in his room quietly until 115am... GEEZ LOUISE! I think we have a problem. Its nice cuz then he sleeps in. But he is supposed to be going to school next fall. I hope he can handle that. I am going to look for the disc some more. Good Night everyone
